WRAPPED IN FRIENDSHIP
A friend came over yesterday to pass along something she found for me while she was on vacation.
She has seen me do a lot of needlework and sewing, so she brought me 3 meters of beautiful hand-dyed fabric.
“You can make a skirt,” she said. “This fabric feels wonderful when you wear it.”
This was the most thoughtful gift. Now I understand prayer shawls. Each time I wear the skirt, I will feel her friendship and kindness.
QUESTION: WHAT CAN YOU LEARN FROM A YEAR OF CRAFTING WITH FAMILY?
LESSON ON DAY 18: FABRIC CAN TRANSMIT A FEELING.
QUESTION OF THE DAY: Can we tell a person’s mood by what he or she is wearing?
PROGRESS: Another adult chef hat is made and listed on Etsy.
